CODE SC-Left My Razor at the Gym (Pomegranate Antioxidant Exfoliating Cleanser)

February 27, 2011

Exfoliating of the skin is so important. Especially for a guy. We as women, as well as men, need to exfoliate the rid our skin of dry skin, debris and other other pore clogging particles that make our complexion a hot mess. However men, have the disadvantage when it comes to their skin. Men shave their faces and exfoliating becomes that much more important.

Code SC is an organic skincare company for men.  Not only is the packaging sharply dressed and recyclable, but they are easy to use and decipher. Not only are the products loved by men, but it is as equally coveted by woman as well. Code SC was recently featured in the Grammy Gifting Suite, and it was a huge hit, amongst guests.

Even as woman we struggle to find the right products for our skin. To address the skin type or issues we have. For a guy its even harder.  Enter, Code SC. With products specifically made for Oily/Problem Skin, Normal Skin, Aging Skin, Dry/Sensitive/Irritated Skin, and last but not least…Damaged/Aging/Problem Skin. You can take a 2 second Quiz and find the products that work best for you. Grouped together on their easy to navigate site, its easy to find exactly what you need.

This is just one of their cleansers. It is their Pomegranate Antioxidant Exfoliating cleanser. Other wise known as “Left my Razor at the Gym” I love all the clever names they have.  It is a richly foaming face/body wash in a 8oz. bottle with a pump.  I might add, the rich foaming is all without the use of SLS/Sodium Lauryl Sulfates. 🙂

  • Pomegranate is rich in antioxidants due to it polyphenol content and also acts as a anti-inflammatory.
  • Blood Orange contains about 130% of the recommended amounts of Vitamin C. Helps improve tone and texture by removing dead skin cells and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Natural Based surfactants free of damaging Sulfates
  • Light, Natural Citrus smell
  • pH:6

This is a great face wash. I enjoyed using it, the scrubby-beads made for a nice exfoliating face massage. It left my face feeling fresh. It removed my makeup effortlessly, so I imagine it’d also work well for the guy who’s a mechanic or other, and has to remove stuff off their face at the end of the day.

Now, I’m not a guy and I don’t shave my face but I’d have to say that as well as this exfoliates, this is a great wash for guys who skip a day shaving or have stopped shaving.  Gives your face a healthy color and tone. What I like about their face washes is that you can alternate them with each other. Each skin type has a couple different washes to choose from.

*To the guys still clinging to their bar soaps, let me say this….this is not drying. If your a man who still uses bar soaps on EVERY inch of your body, and you have skin issues, and looks dull and lifeless…your soap is to blame. Soap is a bad word. 🙂  (Besides, you REALLY shouldn’t be using the same bar of soap on your face that you also use on, ..ahem…other regions.)

Switch things up. Man up your skin care routine. You’ll be amazed at how good your skin looks and feels.

*Ladies, your man may need a little push, but thats ok. I think that  Code SC makes a great gift for guys..especially the guy who either has everything or is really hard to shop for. Chances are very high that he will like them. Code SC also offers TSA friendly travel sizes kits, so that they can get the feel for a bunch of products, or for traveling purposes.

You can find and buy this and all the rest of their products on their website, or check their Retail Locations.

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your post seem
to be running off the screen in Opera. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I’d
post to let you know. The layout look great though!
Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Thanks
