Josie Maran Mini Argan Oil Moisturizing Stick

November 30, 2010

Winter has been especially fierce this year on my skin. Breakouts, dry skin, some due to stress, but still. Once your skin is a hot mess, you need something sooth and heal it. I was very fortunate to not only experience Josie Maran’s line of products, but experience Argan Oil for the first time, and it was amazing.

Argan Oil in short is one of mother natures blessed, beauty secrets.

Commonly referred to as “liquid gold” or “The Gold of Morocco”, Argan Oil is an incredibly rich source of Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It has astonishing healing, conditioning and anti-aging properties to keep your skin and hair nourished and revitalized and to keep you looking beautiful from head to toe. Argan Oil is not only a “super food” for the skin and hair but for the whole body. Having twice as much Vitamin E as olive oil including vital antioxidants, Argan Oil plays a major role in a healthy diet and is commonly used in traditional Moroccan recipes.” -Josie Maran

Josie Maran’s Argan Oil comes in a couple different forms and sizes for the perfect fit for everyone. It comes in travel size balm stick as well as a full size stick, for super easy portability. It also comes in liquid form in 2 sizes as well a liquid in a bronzer shade, for a glow year round!

I am super impressed with this stick. My son had an awful rash on his cheeks, so as soon as I got it, I covered his cheeks, it helped immensely. Upon realizing how great it worked I set out on a journey to try it for all suggested uses. And I’m happy to report its a fantastic multi-tasking product.

There are a ton of uses for Argan Oil, but my very FAVORITE! is to use for acne. Acne can be a hot mess, and you need the right thing to treat it with. Stop! Before you grab some benzyl peroxide or other chemical laced product, let me tell you something. Never, EVER shy away from facial oils. Using the right ones obviously is key, but seriously, you will have the best skin ever if you use facial oils. Mother Nature was very giving with tons of oils that are so uber-rich in nutrients and skin loving ingredients. Embrace oil, yes, even those with acne prone/oily prone will benefit from facial oils. In fact, I think we have the best results with them. They are like a whip for the skin, whips my skin back into shape when its been misbehaving.

“Help heal acne blemishes and scarring
With regular use, Argan Oil is widely reported to heal existing acne blemishes, prevent the occurrence of new breakouts and help reduce scarring.”

  • soothes and heals
  • rich, penetrating formula
  • made with natural ingredients
  • anti-aging benefits
  • essential fatty acids
  • conditions cuticles
  • heals chapped baby cheeks
  • ultra hydrating

I really liked this product and I am now really in love with Argan Oil. It really made my misbehaving skin shape up, and I need to order some more. There are a ton of benefits of Argan Oil, not to mention the benefits it has for women and the environment. Produced exclusively from the nuts of the Argan tree in the semi-desert region of Morocco, the extraction of the Argan Oil is a labor-intensive process that has been perfected by the women native to southwest Morocco. In 2002, the Moroccan government helped establish female cooperatives to manufacture Argan Oil. To learn more about this go to Josie’s site to read more.

This item as well as all of Josie’s fabulous Argan products can be purchased on her site at JosieMaranCosmetics.com, as well as Sephora, and at QVC.com.  The cool thing about QVC and Sephora is they have special limited edition sets and products.

**Disclosure**
This product was sent to me for review purposes by the generous Polly, who introduced me to Josie’s products for the first time, and now I’m hooked.
