Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiaging & Antiwrinkle Oil-Control Treatment

September 14, 2010

I’m kinda funny about skincare. I have a love-hate relationship with it. When I find something I love, I’m obsessed with it. But skincare usually has to be something pretty amazing to get me excited like I do about a rockin’ lip gloss or mascara. But say the words “Oil Control”, and I’m all ears, and very interested. If you are like a good majority of the skin type that falls in the oily skin population, know that I feel your pain. Its not really a pain as much as an inconvience. Makeup that doesn’t stay put, and the shiny-ness, thats clearly not a “glow”, is no fun. This revolutionary, oil-controlling and age-reversing treatment clinically proven to reduce the presence of oil, minimize pores, repair wrinkles, and increase skin elasticity. I am really lovin’ it right now.

It functions so many different ways. For one through the summer months, its perfect just by itself. Its a lightweight, gel like lotion, that smooths on easily and gives your face a finished look. It instantly smooths out imperfections, and toned my face. I would say it would also make an excellent primer, if need be. My make up looks quite flawless over top of it.

From Sephora’s site:

Enriched with powerful antioxidant Quercetin and Oak, this breakthrough skincare technology is the world’s first cosmetic product to incorporate the findings of the ‘Proteasome and Human Ageing’ research. This advanced solution stimulates cell growth and protein synthesis within the first 24 hours. The resulting improvement in skin-cell functioning dramatically repairs fine lines and wrinkles. Alpine herb Epilobium Fleischeri reduces pore size and oily appearance of the skin by regulating the production of 5a-reductase.”

  • 91% Saw more matte /less oily skin
  • 94% Saw a reduction in wrinkles
  • 100% Saw increased skin elasticity

These results were seen after 4 weeks of use. I’ve been using it straight for almost 3. It makes my face WAY less shiny, more even, less visible pores, and helps smooth my skin out in areas, that needed a little help. AND it did not break me out. I love love love this product soooo much. It has a very firm spot in my skin care routine.  I’m hoping that continued use, between this during the day, and the coordinating night cream, at night, I’ll just keep looking like a movie star forever. Ok, so maybe not a movie star, but hows about maybe the hottest mom @ 1st grade, haha.

You can buy this and the other coordinating Quercetin & Oak products at Korres, and at Sephora.

Hugs & Lip Gloss,
